This was a great place to vivst. The staff was very friendly and the exhibits were interesting. There was a lot of construction going on. It looks like there are planning of some huge improvements. Definitely a hidden gem I would suggest anyone to go there.
Really liked this museum, they are expanding to 3 times the size they have now and will be finished in mid 2018. We even got a guided tour by the director of the museum just got lucky on that (we stopped in on a weekday and we're the only people there) sure learned a lot about all the displays well worth the time to go through it.
Every native from Idabel should see this place with their children and grandchildren.
